This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which US Ghost Adventures Llc collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the (usghostadventures.com ) website (“Site”). INFORMATION WE GATHER AND TRACK
US Ghost Adventures, LLC gathers the following types of information about users:

We collect “Device” and “Order” Information using the following technologies and/or methods:
Consent with notice – Customers and subscribers knowingly submit their email address to receive emails from the company and have the option to opt out at any time.

Please note: Site approved vendor Bounce Exchange blocks pop ups with email capture campaigns from European & Canadian users to comply with GDPR/CASL.

Information provided by you when you sign up for an account on our web site or make a transaction, such as names, e-mail address, zip code, phone number, and password.

Information on the number of downloads and the operating system downloaded from.

Information that users provide through optional and voluntary submissions.

Performance of a contract – Transactional emails confirming specific order-related steps (ex. order received, shipping information).

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

 

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

 

Legitimate interest – Customers that have confirmed legitimate interest in the brand (ex. Bookings, Reservations, Social Contests, email newsletter signups, contact forms, etc.).

User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can’t read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

US Ghost Adventures Llc may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:

To improve customer service. Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.

Behavioral Advertising

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Electronic Newsletter Policy – We may provide a free electronic newsletter to users and interested clients. US Ghost Adventures gathers the email addresses of users who voluntarily subscribe. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list.

Sharing policy- Our application allows users to choose to share a point of interest on a tour, the application, or an experience through email, text, or social media. The user must provide their account information (usually email address or integrate with facebook app) and/or that of the recipient. This information is used only in the case of transmission errors and, of course, to let the recipient know who sent the email. The information is not used for any other purpose.

Surveys- US Ghost Adventures provides a voluntary survey feature for clients. The survey data is sent to the client and aggregated. The company may occasionally conduct user surveys to better target our content to our audience. We never share any of this information about specific individuals with any third party.

US Ghost Adventures, LLC uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience in our site, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the sites or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users.

As stated above, we use information that users voluntarily provide to display information to other users and to enable users to participate in surveys, newsletters, and forums. We may send out newsletters to subscribers. US Ghost Adventures never shares newsletter mailing lists with third parties, including advertisers, sponsors or partners.

When we use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas, we do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service. We track search terms entered in Search function as one of many measures of what interests our users.

Children
Consistent with the Federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent. we never collect or maintain information on our Site from those known to be under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.

Usage tracking
US Ghost Adventures, LLC tracks user traffic patterns throughout all of our experiences, including time spent at each stop. However, we do not collect individual data to pair this with, nor do we correlate this information with data about individual users. US Ghost Adventures does break down overall usage statistics according to a user’s domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user’s browser).

US Ghost Adventures, LLC sometimes tracks and catalogs the search terms that users enter in our Search function, but this tracking is never associated with individual users. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us to build a better service for our clients and users.

SECURITY
US Ghost Adventures, LLC operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.

OPT-OUT POLICY
We give users options wherever necessary and practical. Such choices include:

Opting not to register to receive our electronic newsletters.
Opting not to participate in certain interactive areas, which completely alleviates the need to gather any personally identifiable information from our users.
